Double Exposure

In this piece I nearly instantly came up with the idea which would use a child looking out of a window at a painting from my favorite Romantic era painter, John Martin as he painted expansive and slightly terrifying hellish landscapes of biblical proportion. I decided that the irony of the odd nature of the excited child happily looking upon the doom of many would have an interesting visual impact. There were two major blocks I came to in this project. The first, and probably most significant was the limit to what pictures I could use. I needed to find a decent stock image of a rather oddly specific subject at at least a 1080p resolution while dealing with not being able to use almost all of the images I would have liked to use due to the school filter blocking stock image sights as well as most any other sources that exist on the internet. The second issue was that I would have liked to have spent more time editing the lines in the image so it looked more believable. But even with these two factors, I believe that my concept comes through witch is what I care about most here although I would like for it to be of a slightly better quality.

Double Exposure

I chose this picture because it explains my life, I love leaving in the coast especially with the amazing beaches and views that we have and I was born and raised in this small town. But I'm also a city boy because I love the lights in the night its so creative, and in cities there is different type of people and cultures that you can find. That's why I chose this picture, it says a lot in the picture.

Double Exposure

I chose this picture because you can see the sun and trees from behind. It is one of my favorites because every time you look you see a new element of the photograph.

Double Exposure

I took two pictures and blended them together of Mr. Marley Mcclure and a rat just because of his rat-like behavior. Marley is also very rich part of the "rich boi gang gang" as they call it. This picture fit good together because the traits of the the rat picture fit perfectly with Marley.
This is a face made out of the wall at school

Double Exposure

I chose a picture of my sister and I dancing, and a picture of Abbey Road to use for my Double Exposure project. Abbey Road is such an iconic place in the world and to have my dancing take me to such an iconic place would be amazing. Dance is my life and without it I wouldn't be who I am without it.

Double Exposure

The picture of the rocks and glass is a picture that i shot on my iPhone at Glass Beach. The background is a picture of the tree and Pudding Creek on the day of a nice sunset that I saw on the internet. This picture really shows the nice coast we live on.

Double Exposure

This picture is a lion and a tiger. The baby tiger is on top of the baby lion. I framed the tiger head on the lion and erased the background of the tiger and finally I leveled out the levels and fixed the aperture.

I chose this picture because I like the picture of the football field and I thought it would look cool in an eyeball. I used a picture off the internet for the eye but used my own picture on the inside.
I took the head of a polar bear and added it to a black bear

I saw this at the stadium and immediately saw a face in it.

I love this photo! It is Lana Del Rey placed in front of the Brooklyn Bridge. I chose these two images because Lana is my favorite singer and Brooklyn, New York is one of my favorite cities. I edited this photo to be in black and white since it gave it more of an effect.

inanimate object

This picture was taken in Mr. Woultee classroom. It is a picture of his cabinets. When I saw the cabinet I immediately saw the face. In Photoshop I fixed the levels and saturate it. I also did some channel mixer and then cropped it.

Inanimate Object

This picture was taken in Mrs. Tichinan's classroom. I immediately saw eyes on the speaker and the wood frame as it's mouth. It looks like it would be a cute blue robot. I edited this picture by adding saturation and hue to make the dark brown wood to blue as well as the wall to look light blue.

inanimate object

I choose this photo for animate object because the face is easy to see.

I like this picture because it is two of my favorite animals put together (Kangaroo & Corgi). The reason I like these animals is because it is pretty much an inside joke with one of my friends , so it brings back funny memories. I also really like how the two animals look together because it makes the kangaroo look really innocent. I called this a Corgaroo

Inanimate object

I chose this picture from my project animate object. It was a windy day the day I took this photo. It is a tree the was blowing in the wind and I noticed it kinda showed a face so I went ahead and took a picture and this is the face that came out of it.

Faces

This picture was taken outside of Mr. Costello's classroom. The teeth look like they are all spaced out and it makes it seem as if the face is giving off a serious look. The two eyes are unique. One eye is different from the other and also gives off an intrigued look.

In this photo I liked how you can really tell the face and it reminds me of a panda or a chubby kid

Faces

This picture was taken outside of Mr. Costello's room on the bench.

Faces

I took this photo while walking back from the ag class room. I was blankly starring at the ground when I saw the two smaller puddles which resembled the eyes, I then saw the "shocked" face and liked how it kind of reflected in the sunlight.

Inanimate Object

I chose this photo because there is two different faces in the picture. At first I did not try to get two faces in the photo but when I was editing it I noticed it.

Faces

The second I saw the back of my dad’s Mini Cooper, I immediately saw the face. The face it makes is so cute and it appears to be smiling widely. The face is composed of two eyes from the metal bar inside the car, and the smile is the area surrounding the license plate.

Faces

I like how the colorful flowers create a sad face.
